Frequently Asked Questions

Any more questions please don't hesitate to ask and get in touch.

Will my hair be gone after the first session of electrolysis? And does this hurt?

Regular treatments are necessary because each hair follows its own growth cycle. The total number of treatments required varies based on the area, frequency between treatments, individual factors, and medication.
While most people consider the treatments to be tolerable, sensitivity can vary from person to person and some areas may be more sensitive than others. The procedure does not involve piercing the skin, as it targets the hair follicle directly, thus eliminating the risk of bleeding or significant discomfort.

Can i still remove hair between treatments?

You can shave the hair or use depilatory creams, but it's important to avoid plucking, waxing, or undergoing any laser treatments when having electrolysis.

Are consultations free?

Indeed, consultations are complimentary. I can offer a phone consultation to understand your requirements broadly. Alternatively, if you're content after the consultation, we can proceed with a treatment, or you may like to schedule a treatment for a future date. There is no obligation whatsoever.

How longer after having advanced electrolysis done will it take to heal?

Individual responses vary, but post-treatment, you may notice some fine crusts or scabs forming. It's important not to pick at these. The healing process can take anywhere from 7 to 14 days, depending on the nature of the treatment and your body's typical healing response.

Im going on holiday does this matter ?

It is advisable to undergo treatments at least a month before your holiday to ensure proper healing, or to wait until after your return, as newly treated skin may pigment if exposed to the sun without adequate protection.
